My experience at Fun and Learn with Peers an informative one!!

I participated in fun and learn with peers organized by our education department at CA.First of all i need to thank them for coming up with a wonderful theme :)

Initially i thought it was like a tech talk as usual but the total impression and what we did was entirely different when i was at the field.

I had few take aways which i want to share with all of you.The trainer demonstrated and made us realize using a simple game that we played.

The game is.We are a group of 15 people.Everyone should pass the ball to other except to the person standing towards his/her left or right.Sounded interesting.
Now once you confirm how the ball passes he freezes the loop.So now the ball should pass through the same people and reach the first person who started it.

We started of the game.It took 19 seconds for the first attempt. He told us the record time that we need to break is 1 sec and some one did it.I internally thought he was just kidding and it is impossible.

Then what we did is we came closer and everyone raised our hand once the ball is received. did a dry run before calling him, made sure it was reducing time and finally gave it a try asking him to record the time. Now the time it took for us is 9 sec.Amazing nearly 50% of the time reduction.

Now another strategy ,other attempt,we gave numbers as how the ball got passed arranged our self alternatively and placed the ball on a table and touched the ball shouting our numbers as quick as possible, now the time reduced to 5.56 sec.

Next attempt we formed a circle sequentially(which i suggested),then tried it again we came to 5.49 sec.

Next attempt ,same strategy as above but we hook a pen to the ball(since first person should not touch the ball when it passes to others)and now just a single finger of all of ours on the table formed as a circle sequentially. The first person just catches the tip of the pen and rolled through all our fingers.
Guess whats the time it took,we are almost near its 1.03 sec.

We made him to do it a couple of times so that he will come up to the speed while rolling the ball on our fingers. Now we called the trainer to check the time.

WOW...we did it ,its exactly 1 sec.

I thought what i thought impossible is made possible by all of us in fraction of minutes.

Then he started explaining that this is how we need to go while in a Team:

Storm ,Norm and perform
Storm is for brainstorming, think ideas find out ways to implement it.
Norms is to Follow the procedures and rules that you brain stormed
so if these both are in right mixture Performance comes with it.

And that is what we exactly did and saw the results and learnt practically with a simple game.

My Diwali Celebrations at Krushi Homes

Its been always my pleasure to celebrate my Diwali with the kids at Krushi Homes an orphanage for run away and semi orphan kids. They always await us and we always had a warm welcome from the kids.

Like every year i am all set and very exited to celebrate my Diwali as i missed out last year and its been an year that i met all those cuties out there.

But for them this year it was a surprise as we didn't inform about our visit and its like a sudden surprise seeing us.Wishes from their heart and their self less love always made me feel the most luckiest person on earth.I become a kid with those kids out there.:)This time both pankhudi and colors swathi's family were at Krushi so the kids are very excited in celebrating with us .All the smiling faces that i can never forget :)

I interacted with all the kids and played some games and had the tastiest lunch with the kids that anyone will ever get:)

All over i had an awesome Diwali :)

Live as if your were to die tomorrow ..

When i thought a bit about it,i immediately recollected the phrase that i always tell my friends when they question me what you want to be in Life.I always used to answer that i want to Live in such a way that the world should cry while i rejoice when i die.It sounded interesting when i read similar thoughts written down by an author in his book who shares with his child.I laughed at my self.

For a minute i asked my self who will cry when i die?How many lives did i touch while i walked on this planet?hmmm...the list of questions goes on...

I always write in my posts saying "Be the change you want to see"and once you do,your life will change. But myself doesn't have an answer while i question this to the world !!

For me if i make even one person smile by helping him/her i am quite satisfied with my purpose of living.

The things that are easy to do and appreciate are also the things that are easy not to do.I truly thank and feel happy for all the people who told that i am their inspiration from my activities i do and that's a positive act or change in their lives as well as in the underprivileged kids. There are small acts done with great Love.Without rich heart, wealth is an ugly beggar.

So what i learnt in my live is serve selflessly.and hurtful world unleashed in a single minute of anger led to many a broken friendship.Forgiveness is the greatest act of personal courage. For all of you out there if directly or otherwise forgive me for the same if i did hurt one.

Everyone who enters your life has a lesson to teach and a story to tell:)
Either good or bad depends on the way you take it and what you learn from it:)
I thank everyone who came across in my journey and touched my life in some or the other way:)

As some one said I realized we see the world not as it is but as we are :)

I have lived fully :)

As long as i live,it is my privilege to do for it what ever i can :)

This would me my last post if "Live as if your were to die tomorrow" .. :)

God Save us from these Sufferings!!

Recently i experienced something i would never dream of..i am travelling back from my office after a little bit of discussion with my colleagues and finally decided to go by a local train at 6.25pm .I started from the station and suddenly in a few minutes a 21 year old girl fell down and started behaving in a weird way ,she is unconscious and even couldn't recognize her sister for a while.Initially i started rubbing her legs and hands and consoling her sister not to panic.

Dindn't understand what to do.Some people out in the train asked to get down at next station but none of us know any hospitals near by and as the time passing by the condition is becoming serious ,suddenly 108 came to my mind and called them to immediately come to the next station.I along with her sister got down taking her.She was ok for few minutes but again started shouting and behaving weirdly.

Mean while the ambulance came to the other side of the platform.I took help of a guy in the station standing to carry her and asked him to come along.we crossed the track and he carried her into the ambulance and we started going to the nearest hospital.Doctors said not to worry because we took her at the right time.they put on oxygen and injections and did some first aid.I saw the suffering of a Life and understood what life s and many questions revolved my mind. Why are these bonding's.Which are really painful .I myself couldn't see her in that state. We reached the hospital and after a while her relatives came in by 10 pm.

I myself being sick came back home.Next day i waited for her call.I was upset not hearing any news assuming so many things.Assumptions always showed me hell :)The next day her sister gave a Thank u call saying they shifted her to four hospitals for diagnosis and to treat her.The whole reason is the blockage of blood in her brain :(

God save us from all these sufferings.and thanks for introducing 108.It saved a Life.

As some of you asked about her she is shifted from ICU after 2 days and she is doing okay now :)

This post is not at all for appreciation and I am not talking about what i did...this post is to make people understand that you never know what happens in Life...I saw passengers in the train were just thinking about self and didn't come forward to help her...I just want to let people think about it.You do good...and i bet god saves you too!!After all we are humans!!

How much you can understand :)

When i read this phrase for a second i thought how true it is...

A beautiful relationship does not depend upon how good we understand someone but on how well we avoid misunderstandings :)

This is the key for all of our happy lives too.More than understanding a persons tastes and thoughts,or what you dont like in him/her it is absolutely necessary to understand what one person really is and always take things in rite sense:)

Dont assume..start understanding..

So from now when you meet some one understand and dont "miss understanding" :)

and this is self explanatory which is true but not that easy :)

Missing someone gets easier every day. Because, even though it is one day further from the last time you saw each other, it is one day closer to the next time you will:)

Happy Fathers Day!!

For All Fathers here's wishing you a very Happy Fathers Day!!

The calm of a quiet sea,The generous soul of nature.
He is one of my very best friend who always has a listening ear
He is one of the masterpiece.

His unexpressable love and can be seen onlyin his eyes
He always knows what is on my mind even before i speak out
He's someone who listens, supports, and defends.

He is very patient and helpful when things go wrong
In all that i do,he plays a part.
Thank you, Dad...
for listening and caring, for giving and sharing,
but, especially, for just being you!

The anger, coming fast and building slow,
Of being helpless to control someone.
You always want me to grow up right,
I'm sorry for the anger in the air;
Though we fight, my love is always there.

You mean so many things and everything to me.
You have an understanding heart,
A source of strength and support
With encouragement and forgiveness

I am successful today, but the one reason behind it is the gift i have:Dad and Mom.

For every story you have something to take away :)

Its an interesting and a stressful week for me...when we are loaded with lots of work
we never get time do anything other than to complete our targets.

At this point of time some small stories or funny one liners makes me relaxed.
Here i am sharing one of those i like :)

For every story you have something to take away.If you are on same lines as me then check this out:)

Once, a dog lost his way deep into the jungle.
He almost fainted to see a lion coming straight to him at a very near distant.
"I will be dead today" , thought he.There were some bones lying over there.
He turned his back towards lion and started pretending as if he is eating those
bones. When lion was very close to him he cried out loudly "Wow, what a fun eating a lion, by chance if I can get another one,it will be a treat ".

Lion thought "What a dangerous dog!!!!! He kills lions and eats it. Let me
run away from here and save my life ".

Now, there was a Monkey hiding on the tree there watching the entire show.He thought "It's a good chance to tell the truth to the lion. Lion will become my friend and I will not have to run saving my life from him ".

He just ran away to inform the entire episode to Lion. The dog had seen him going and quickly understood the ploy. Both lion and monkey were coming back to the dog and the lion was furious. When lion was very close to him he again cried out loudly " It has been half an hour and yet that stupid monkey can't fetch another lion??!!!!"

Morale: "It is by presence of mind in untried emergencies that the native metal of man is tested."

We are not rewarded for having a brain,But for using it... How true is it :)

The 40th anniversary of RFC :)

YESTERDAY is an important date in the history of the Internet: the 40th anniversary of what is known as the Request for Comments. Outside the technical community, not many people know about the R.F.C.’s, but these humble documents shape the Internet’s inner workings and have played a significant role in its success.

When the R.F.C.’s were born, there wasn’t a World Wide Web. Even by the end of 1969, there was just a rudimentary network linking four computers at four research centers: the University of California, Los Angeles; the Stanford Research Institute; the University of California, Santa Barbara; and the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. The government financed the network and the hundred or fewer computer scientists who used it. It was such a small community that we all got to know one another.

Computers and Technology changed the way world is irrespective of whether it is a gud or a bad sign :)

Intelligence is not what you Think!!

When i was reading through ,i found something worth sharing about intelligence.First, know well that intellectuality is not intelligence.Intelligence is the growth of inner consciousness. It has nothing to do with knowledge.

A Catholic,a protestant and a Jew were talking to a friend who said he had just been given six months to live.

"what would you do,"the man asked the catholic,"if your doctor gave you six months to live?"

"Ah!"said the catholic."I would give all my belongings to the church, take communion every Sunday, and say my hail Marys regularly."

"And you?"he asked the protestant.

"I would sell everything and go on a worlds cruise and have a great time!"

"And you?"he said to Jew.

"Me?" i would see another doctor."

That is Intelligence.

Do intelligent things..A very happy new yr :)
